Fluorescent tattoo ink is one of the latest and hottest trends in tattooing. The ink has fluorescent material in it that glows brightly under a black light. Some of the ink is completely invisible under regular light so only shows up at the club or other areas with UV lights. There are many colors that also show up in regular light but glow bright neon in UV light.
Fluorescent tattoo ink does not glow in the dark but glows brightly under UV light. It is not cancer causing, non-radioactive, sterilized and safe for all types of skin. It should not be used for eye tattoos which are dangerous and controversial anyways. Many of the colors look great under normal light conditions while others are completely invisible.
Fluorescent tattoo ink is applied in exactly the same way as a regular tattoo but the artist has to work with a black light in the vicinity especially when working with invisible ink which is one of the most popular types of UV tattoos. They can even be applied to the face and not be noticed at all during the day but reveal themselves only under certain lighting conditions.
